Using The Premium Options

PaperCut

After preparing the Client’s Return, click the Exit Button, or press the <Enter> key to get to the Receipt Menu.

  • Select Client’s Media Type
  • Choose 'Store', 'Pickup' or 'Email'
  • You may then Exit the Receipt Menu, and you will be asked if you wish to 'Print the Return to PDF.' 
  • If you answer YES, you will be asked to choose a Print Option (ex: One Copy Federal and State, etc…) the return will print on your computer screen.  At this point, you may close the on-screen print and return to TaxSlayer Pro Main Menu, or you may wish to print a hard copy of the return.

To RECALL your documents in Paper Cut, simply click the Paper Cut Icon from the TaxSlayer Pro Main Menu.  The Paper Cut Menu will appear. 

  • Click 'Tax Returns' from the Paper Cut Menu.  (The Client List will appear) 
  • Select the return you wish to Print to PDF
  • Click OK.

To EMAIL your documents in Paper Cut, simply click the Paper Cut Icon from the TaxSlayer Pro Main Menu.  The Paper Cut Menu will appear.

  • If you wish to e-mail a copy of the return to your client, click the 'E-Mail' Button
  • Select your Client from the List.  (REMEMBER - you need to enter an E-Mail Address in the Personal Information Section of the Tax Return for your client to show up in the E-Mail List.)
  • Make sure your Client’s correct E-Mail Address shows in the 'SEND TO:' field; make sure you have attached the PDF copy of the tax return.
  • Click the 'Send' button.

 

PDF Vault

Again you will start with the Paper Cut Icon to bring up the Paper Cut Menu.  Select the Date Range to upload and click the 'OK' Button.

 

Tax Status Now

  • Select 'Get My Tax Status' or 'Get My Check Status'  (You will need the Social Security Number, Filing Status and Exact Refund Amount shown on the Return)

 

Tax Office Assistant

After preparing the Client’s Return, click the Exit Button, or press the <Enter> key to get to the Receipt Menu.

  • Select the option to Send Text Message to Client (Text messaging is real time.  This means if you print a check at 2:00AM, your client will receive a text at 2:00AM if they have indicated they wanted to receive a text message.) 
  • If you agree to these terms, answer 'YES'
  • Enter the Client’s Cell Phone Number
  • Select the Cell Phone Provider from the list

Once the Client’s Check has been printed, a text message will then be sent to the phone number provided stating, 'Your check is ready to be picked up.'

AdPack

In order to access your AdPack you will need to log in to your account at www.taxslayerpro.com

  • Select the 'Pro Premium' Tab (top right hand side of the screen
  • Click on the link to download the AdPack 
  • When prompted to open or save this file, select Save.  (Please be sure that you pay close attention to the location you choose to save this file.
  • When the download is complete, double click on the adpack.zip file from the location of the saved file.
